Dr. Mory Ghomshei with a Master’s degree in mining environment (University of British Columbia) and a Doctor of Engineering in minerals and energy (University of Paris) works as an international energy and environment consultant. He is ISO-50001 specialist. His expertise is in mining and sustainable energy resources and technologies and mineral resource engineering. He has been a principal investigator in several Canadian and international energy projects (e.g. extraction of heat from abandoned and operating mines, co-production of geothermal energy and natural gas in Northern BC , and optimization of energy usage in mining, especially in ventilation and comminution). He has written for world bank environmental guidelines for geothermal projects.
Dr. Abbaspour is in the field of hydrology and soil physics with a background in civil engineering and mathematics. He has done extensive work in modelling of flow and transport in soils, groundwater, and catchments. On the mathematical side, he had developed internationally used system analysis techniques to calibrate models. Dr Abbaspour has modelled water resources of Africa, Middle East, the Black Sea Basin, and the European continent. He has also studied the impact of climate change on water resources of Middle East and, and Africa.
Ramona Mirjahangir is a biological science graduate with major in life sciences (Public health and Epidemiology ), and a minor in Environmental Sciences from university of British Columbia.
Major practices in environmental research, sustainability, and data analysis using GIS for environmental management. Her Field Experience in environmental monitoring and energy sustainability, having conducted and managed environmental field surveys ,including water/soil/echo-systems
Reza Naderi is a computer scientist, technologist and philosopher. With a Master’s degree in computer science and philosophy (University of Toronto) and doctorate in philosophy (European Graduate Schools, Switzerland) and a long-standing career in enterprise software and systems architecture, he brings a unique perspective to the intersection of energy, environment, and innovation. He co-founded Tecto in collaboration with Mory Ghomshei and participated in early geothermal exploration projects in British Columbia. In addition to his academic publications, Reza is currently focused on integrating AI and philosophical frameworks to address complex societal challenges — a vision that aligns with Tecto’s mission of engineering solutions for the present time.
